Most of our customers install their own kits. Some want a professional shop to handle it. If you fall in the second camp, we can help you find someone who has done a Ford Cummins swap before.

How It Works

1. Tell us your truck, your engine, and your zip code.
2. We will reach out to installers we trust in your region and let you know who is taking new builds.
3. You contact the installer directly to get a quote and timeline. We do not mark up labor or take a cut.

What to Ask the Installer

• How many Cummins swaps have you completed?
• Can you provide references or photos of recent builds?
• What is included in the labor quote (welding, wiring, ECM tuning, final dyno)?
• What is the realistic timeline from engine drop-in to running truck?
• Do you stand behind your work if something needs to be adjusted after the build?

What a Good Installer Will Tell You

Honest shops will quote a range, not a single number. A typical CR Cummins swap into a 2003 to 2007 Super Duty runs $8,000 to $15,000 in labor depending on how much custom fabrication is required. They will also ask you to source the engine and transmission separately rather than marking up used drivetrains.
