Transmission Adapter for a 2003-2018 CR Cummins to 1987-1997 Ford 6.9/7.3 ZF5

Includes Bell housing,Starter and Adapter bolts along with dowels from transmission to adapter.

Adapter is designed to use a SACHS NFW7223 and will need to be machined to fit the 6303 pilot bearing. When used with the SACHS NFW7223 no starter spacer is needed, any single disc zf5 clutch will bolt to this flywheel.

 All of our Transmission Adapter here at cummins conversion are designed with precision using OEM Cad models and machined in-house. Our thorough  inspection process ensures all parts meet tolerance before removal from cnc machine.

The material used is USA sourced 6061 aluminum and the threads are created using a specialized process, resulting in a 30% stronger thread than conventional threads, preventing any possibility of stripped threads.

Transmission adapter is compatible with 03-07 6.0 and 08-10 6.4 starters. We highly recommend using the 6.4 starter as some transmissions may require additional bell housing clearance with the 6.0 starter.

Please note, for certain Cummins engines, a small amount of grinding may be necessary on the block to ensure clearance for the starter (refer to the last picture for reference).
