Ford V10 to Cummins Swap
The 2008-2010 V10 Super Duty runs the 5R110, the same automatic behind the 6.4. Pull the 6.8 V10, keep the 5R110, and bolt in a 5.9 or 6.7 Cummins.
We make complete kits for the 2008-2010 F-250 through F-550 V10. Everything is machined in Blaine, MN, and most orders ship in 1-3 business days.
2008-2010 Ford V10 to Cummins kits
| Your Cummins | Kit | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Common rail 5.9 or 6.7 (2003-2020) | CR Cummins to 08-10 Ford V10 5R110 KIT | $1,995 |
| 12 or 24 valve 5.9 (1989-2002) | 12/24 Cummins to 08-10 Ford V10 5R110 KIT | $1,925 |
What's in the common rail V10 kit
- CR Cummins to Ford 5R110 adapter with a billet steel flexplate
- Motor mounts that use the factory Ford frame mounted isolators. You don't have to move the Cummins ECU.
- 2008-2010 AC/alt bracket for your factory Ford AC compressor and a Ford diesel alternator, with no AC line changes
- Power steering pump relocation bracket, so the 6.4 pump clears the steering gearbox
What's in the 12/24V V10 kit
- 12/24V Cummins to Ford 5R110 adapter with a billet steel flexplate
- Motor mounts that use the factory Ford frame mounted isolators
- The same 2008-2010 AC/alt bracket
- Fan hub adapter that puts the 6.4 fan on a 12/24V fan clutch
Things to plan for on a V10 swap
- A Ford diesel alternator. The AC/alt bracket is built around one, not the gas alternator.
- 2005-2010 adjustable pedals? You'll want a throttle bracket: common rail ($449) or 12/24V ($179).
- Wiring, fuel supply, intercooler piping and exhaust. We don't sell these.
